For this article I have chosen two of the best selling Vizio 42″ televisions and put them side by side. You will see that the specs are almost the same besides in a few key areas and feature sets, with one having the whole Vizio she-bang and the other being a toned down version.

Specification Comparison
When comparing these two TV’s on paper, things look very similar. Both are full high definition models.

The main difference is that the SV420XVT comes with all the top of the line features from Vizio, whereas the V042LF is a TV with similar specs but without the bells and whistles (Although the price difference between the two is not huge. The main differences are:

It only costs a bit more than the V042LF so I can highly recommend it as your next 42″ Vizio Widescreen LCD HDTV.

The Vizio GV47LF is a 47″ 1080p (full high definition) LCD HDTV. It is also known as the Gallevia.
